Behind the Hole

‘Down the Rabbit Hole’ is a non-linear web project conceptualized, designed and programmed by Julia Zimmermann and Tim Hönig. It was created as part of the course ‘Zeitmaschinen’ (winter semester 2020/21) at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam under the supervision of Prof. Boris Müller.

Approach

In Western culture, the topic of procrastination is usually approached from two perspectives. There is the chaotic but also sympathetic and almost crazy creative who, despite procrastination, finishes work with genius ease shortly before the deadline.

The other side is the lazy work refuser, who simply does not want to work in the progress-hungry society and is therefore to blame for their own failure. These two extremely contrasting perspectives leave all the other facets of procrastination drowned out.

With the project we tried to take a new look at the procrastination we are all too familiar with. Far from self-optimization-tips we give a space to all the things that otherwise find no mention in the context and invite you to be open to play with the topic.
